Our January 2012 Grumman Gatherers lunch will actually be the first Saturday in February, Feb. 4th. We will still plan to Gather at Pilot Pete's restaurant located in the terminal building on the Schaumburg Municipal Airport(06C), Schaumburg, IL. Plan to be there at 11:30 so we can get a jump on their lunch crowd.

Tucson, Arizona (KTUS) CHANGED TO CASA GRANDE
Our AYA'ers suggested that we just postpone Tucson and just meet up in Casa Grande on Saturday morning instead. Sounded like a really good idea, so we are going to run with that instead! We will look at "plugging in" Tucson at a later date!
The event features Antique, Classic, Warbird, Replica and Homebuilt aircraft from across the country. World War II Bombers, including a B-17 Flying Fortress and a B-25 Michell from the CAF Museum up at Falcon Field will be on display and conducting flying demonstrations. Laughlin, Nevada (KIFP) – We are going to be joining
Greg and the Southwest Region AYA’ers for a weekend of
good food, lots of mischief, and a bunch of outright fun at the Casinos in Laughlin, NV (On the AZ/NV Border). We will land at the Laughlin/Bullhead City Airport (KIFP). Less than one hour flight from most of Arizona and Southern Utah. Not a bad flight from anywhere else in the region.

Payson, Arizona (KPAN)
Payson, Arizona (KPAN) Our annual fly-in Picnic and Air Camping Adventure. This year, we are going to add in some “fun n games” (i.e. spot landing, flour bomb drop, balloon pop) to make it a fun day of flying for everyone. As always, air camping at the incredible Payson Air Campground is an added bonus!
